Warehouse parties to get the band on Radio 1

EXPERIENTIAL - DIGITAL

Our task was to build a substantial social fan base (likes, shares, followers, views etc) to convince Radio 1 that Swiss Lips were worthy of airplay.

We moved the band into a warehouse and spent most of the budget on a month of free parties and creative collaborations. 

We collaborated with Bastille and The Horrors, made merch and gave it away for free. We worked with the Vice editorial team to create social content from the live events that we hosted (gigs, parties, workshops). In one month, we got an underground band to the Holy Grail of UK music - the BBC Radio 1 Playlist.
